Zenon Welcomes Two ACE Interns from BCIT

Zenon Group (previously CES) is pleased to welcome two new interns, Leidy Pinilla and Sneha Varghese to our team as part of the ACE Internship Initiative with (BCIT).

Through this six-month program, our interns join us full-time, gaining hands-on experience across our projects while continuing their academic journey in BCIT’s Certificate in Essential Technical Skills for Architecture, Construction and Engineering.

The ACE initiative is designed to introduce young professionals to the diverse career paths in architecture, construction, and engineering. Students began with a 144-hour summer intensive course, covering key technical and professional skills such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, project management, building technology, and communication. They then complete two 23-week paid internships with industry partners like Zenon Group (Previously CES) , supported by BCIT practicum courses that tie workplace learning to academic outcomes.

Our interns will have the opportunity to:

• Contribute to active CES projects in MEP design, digital tools, and sustainability.

• Shadow and collaborate with our engineers, project managers, and specialists.

• Explore the career possibilities within the ACE sector while developing practical workplace skills.

  
  

As part of our Memorandum of Understanding with BCIT, Zenon Group (Previously CES) has committed to hosting ACE interns and providing them with mentorship, real project exposure, and a supportive workplace environment.
