Zenon Group (previously CES) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chandra Laframboise as Commissioning Principal for Eastern Canada, based in our Ottawa office.

With over 15 years of experience in mechanical design and building commissioning, Chandra brings a rare blend of technical depth, strategic vision, and sustainability leadership to the Zenon (previously CES) team.

A LEED Accredited Professional and long-time member of the Canada Green Building Council, Chandra has led commissioning and design efforts on numerous high-performance buildings. She was the mechanical design lead on Canada Post’s flagship 500,000 ft² processing plant in Scarborough—one of the first projects in Canada to receive CaGBC’s Zero Carbon Design certification.

Chandra’s professional background includes a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and project delivery, having acted as both design lead and project manager on a wide variety of building types. She spent seven years as the Owner’s Lead Mechanical at Canada Post, where she developed national mechanical design standards and worked closely with facilities and capital planning teams. This experience provided her with deep insight into how owners experience design and construction, and how to bridge the gap between design intent and real-world operational performance.

At Zenon (previously CES) Chandra will lead commissioning delivery across Ontario, support national initiatives, and help shape our process frameworks to ensure consistent, scalable, and outcomes-focused services. Her passion for continuous improvement and her belief in the power of commissioning to unlock long-term value for clients align strongly with Zenon Group’s (previously CES) integrated project delivery philosophy.

Chandra is also a passionate advocate for sustainability, process improvement, and equity in the industry. Her leadership style is grounded in integrity, teamwork, and long-term thinking, values that align closely with Zenon Group’s (previously CES) mission.

Outside of work, Chandra is a dedicated runner, hiker, and volunteer. She supports initiatives that promote STEM education for youth and empower at-risk women and girls.

Please join us in welcoming Chandra to Zenon Group (previously CES).
