Zenon Group (before Superstructures) has recently implemented significant upgrades to its structural design software, marking an important step forward in improving both efficiency and accuracy across projects. These advancements strengthen the team’s ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions using modern digital tools.

Earlier in the year, the team transitioned from traditional hand calculations to the TEDDS electronic calculation system. This shift has streamlined workflows and enhanced consistency, while also providing clients and collaborators with clearly presented and professional calculation reports.

A further major development is the adoption of Tekla Structural Designer, a powerful 3D structural analysis software. This platform enables full collaboration with other BIM tools such as Revit and Vectorworks, while also allowing the team to design larger and more complex structures with greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

As with all software, these tools rely on the experience and expertise of the engineering team to ensure the best results. Current projects in the design phase include an industrial warehouse, a piled slab foundation for an oval-shaped café and restaurant, and a large contemporary concrete-framed house featuring a basement and swimming pool.
