Zenon Group Appoints David Green as Global Director of Building Performance

Zenon Group (previously CES) are delighted to announce the appointment of David Green as our new Global Director of Building Performance.

A key strategic leadership role that reflects the ongoing expansion of our global operations and our deep commitment to delivering industry leading commissioning, energy, and sustainability services. With more than 40 years of experience across multiple regions and sectors, David brings a rare combination of technical expertise, strategic insight, and a long-standing passion for performance excellence. In this new role, he will lead Zenon Group’s (previously CES) Building Performance services across Western Canada, the UK, the US, and other international markets enhancing alignment, consistency, and capability across all teams. (Note: this role excludes Eastern Canada due to an existing restrictive covenant.)

As a UK Chartered Engineer, Licensed PE, ASHRAE BCxP, and BCxA Certified Commissioning Professional, David is widely recognized for redefining performance standards in the built environment. His portfolio includes some of the industry’s most technically demanding and iconic projects:

• The News International Printing Press, Broxbourne, UK

• Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, Moose Jaw, SK

David also plays an active role in shaping global industry standards. He sits on ASHRAE’s SSPC 300 Commissioning Committee, acts as a technical reviewer for CIBSE’s commissioning standards, and currently serves as Chairman of the CIBSE ASHRAE Group a liaison group that fosters global collaboration and inter-institutional dialogue across the building services industry.

David’s appointment marks a significant step in Zenon Group’s (previously CES) journey toward becoming a global leader in high-performance buildings. His leadership will help ensure our commissioning, energy, and sustainability teams are empowered, aligned, and delivering best-in-class service in every region.
